The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 delivers an undeniably upscale experience with room for the whole family!

The GLS was all-new last year so the 2021 model only receives a few small changes. New standard features include four-zone automatic climate control, ventilated seats, and 20-inch aluminum wheels. Parking-Damage Detection is another newly standard feature that can send a notification to the owner’s phone via the Mercedes Me Connect app if a collision is detected while the car is parked.

The 2021 GLS can carry up to seven passengers or six with optional second row captains chairs installed. With all of the seats up, the GLS offers 17.4 cubic feet of space. With the third row folded down there is 48.7 cubic feet of space, and with the second and third rows folded down, a total of 84.7 cubic feet of space is available.

Two large digital displays cover the dashboard, one a gauge cluster display, and the other the infotainment display. The infotainment screen runs the latest MBUX software that features the “Hey Mercedes” voice assistant. A 7-inch tablet for the second row that controls many MBUX functions is also available.

Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, in-dash navigation, and on-board Wi-Fi hotspot are all standard. All GLS models also come standard with a 13-speaker Burmester Surround Sound Stereo with an available 3D audio system with a 26-speaker arrangement.
