2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 Overview
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 has some updates for the new model year including standard heated seats and parking assist, hands-free entry, and a logo projector. This luxury crossover compact SUV is and surprisingly quick and very stylish!
A 255-hp turbocharged four-cylinder mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission is the GLC 300’s standard powertrain. Rear-wheel drive is standard but 4MATIC® all wheel drive is an option. Overall, the GLC delivers a quiet and smooth ride and earns an estimated 22mpg city and 29mpg on the highway.
The GLC’s cabin is equipped with attractive materials, great build quality, and comfortable passenger accommodations. The GLC offers luxurious standard equipment including dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and power-adjustable front seats. Some available upgrades include leather surfaces, a Head-Up display, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, automatic high-beam assist, and a 360-degree camera.
The GLC cargo area measures 19 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 57 cubic feet of space with the back seats folded down. A 10.25-inch touchscreen is standard on the GLC and supports the latest MBUX technology. The system can be operated through the touchscreen, controls on the steering wheel, the intuitive touchpad on the center console, or through voice commands.
The GLC-Class also comes in a coupe body style, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 Coupe, and a plug-in hybrid model, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e Plug-In Hybrid, that has a higher fuel-economy rating estimation that is higher than many of its PHEV rivals.
